If you’re buying from a personal seller, then assume the cellphone is used and any references to ‘like new’ or refurbished are as a result of the seller has saved it in good situation, or has opened it however not used it. Unless they can offer a receipt from an Apple retailer or another retailer, assume there’s no warranty.
