COPPER IS CHILE’S MAIN EXPORT PRODUCT
While copper is a non-renewable resource, the future of Chilean mining and its position at the global level is auspicious thanks to the long-term plans of the main public and private mining firms to increase their production.
In 2016, providers of mining goods and services exported $471 million. This figure corresponds to total shipments by 445 firms to 79 markets and represents 0.81% of total exports and 1.61% of mining exports.
Thanks to its experience and global leadership as a mining producer, Chile is an internationally valued and renowned player. As a result, we have a highly specialized and experienced network of providers. Chile’s diverse offering of high-quality goods and services stands out for its competitiveness and covers the entire mining process, from exploration to site closure.
